Magdalena Ponagajbo

Creative director and Partner at Mamastudio, Co Founder and art director at Autor Rooms and warszawawarsaw.com

Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2001 founder and partner at Mamastudio – one of the leading offices specialized in visual brand communication in Poland. As art director and designer she oversees branded commercial interior design projects and visual information systems for public spaces. Reddot design awarded for Copernicus Science Centre Wayfinding System. 

In 2015 together with her Mamastudio partners she established first of a kind boutique hospitality concept in Warsaw. Autor Rooms is a 200 sqm apartment with four bedrooms that have all been converted into four-star standard guest rooms. The project is built entirely on Polish products, furniture and most of all upon creative collaboration with local designers, makers and curators. Autor Rooms gained international attention and was nominated to be the Best Urban Hotel of 2016 by Wallpaper Magazine. 

Magdalena and her team is strongly engaged in promoting their beloved city of Warsaw. In 2016 Mamastudio and Autor Rooms published the illustrated album “Warszawa Warsaw. Key to the City”. The book, written in Polish and English, discovers emerging culture of the Polish capital.
