Marcin Garbacki

Architect, Co-founder of PROJEKT PRAGA architecture studio

Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of Warsaw University of Technology, member of Association of Polish Architects (SARP).

Since 2010 together with Karolina Tunajek he is running PROJEKT PRAGA - architecture and interior design studio.

The leitmotif of Projekt Praga’s work is revitalization and the dialogue between past and the present. They design buildings of various sizes and functions, interiors and intimate public spaces. They have been revitalizing post-industrial areas of Soho Factory in Warsaw and Perła Breweries in Lublin where they’ve completed a number of interventions.

In the field of architecture Marcin and his team wins prizes in architectural competitions. Bielsko-Biala Museum And Castle Atrium Roofing – first prize , Nowe Żerniki social housing complex in Wrocław – first prize, Guggenheim Helsinki Museum – honorable mention,  The scientific and didactic building Ochota Campus (psychology, Cognitive Science, Psychophysiology) in Warsaw – first prize (with Piotr Bujnowski Achitekt)

In the field of Interior Design they designed numerous restaurants and bars such as Warszawa Wschodnia by Mateusz Gessler, Perłowa Beerhouse in Lublin, Kuchnia Otwarta restaurant, YEYE bar or Miłość club in Warsaw. Currently Marcin is involved in the project of complete redesign and extention of existing Hotel Harenda in historical building at Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw.
